Broadway Actor Gideon Glick's Wedding Was Like a Night at the Tony Awards
Even though they both grew up in Philadelphia and attended the same summer camp, high school, and college, Gideon Glick and Perry Dubin didn't meet until 2015, when both were well into their respective careers. Gideon is an actor with Broadway credits that include Significant Other, Little Shop of Horrors, and To Kill a Mockingbird, for which he was nominated for a Tony; Perry is a cancer hospitalist at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Their chance meeting occurred in a local Philadelphia gym—Gideon was in town to dog-sit his mother's puppy for a week while Perry was just finishing up his residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Perry had seen a few of Gideon's plays so he went over to say hello.
